(1) The next monthly seminar of the Pui Ching Alumni Association will be held on the 9th of January 2002 (Wednesday), at the Association's office, from 7:00pm onward. The speaker will be the principal of our primary school, Mr Lee Si Yuen. He will talk about the influence on the Pui Ching School by the education reform in Hong Kong, particularly the yat-tiu-lung policy (the automatic admission of primary graduates to secondary one of the same school) advocated by the government. After the seminar (around one hour) there will be a dinner held at the school canteen. The dinner charge will be 80 dollars for each person. If you are interested in the seminar or dinner or both, just turn up on that night, and you will find it worth the effort and the money to come.

(2) There will be a Spring Dinner held on the 17th February 2002 (Sunday) at the Ocean Palace, Tsim Sha Tsui. The dinner is organized by the Pui Ching Alumni Association. All Pui Ching Alumni and their friends and relatives are welcomed. The dinner charge is 250 HK dollars per adult. Pui Ching staffs, students, and senior alumni above golden jubilee will be 180 HK dollars, whereas alumni above diamond jubilee will be free of charge. Reservation for a whole table will enjoy 10% discount. So if you are interested, better be hurry. Just phone Cheng Mei Yee or myself to reserve a seat. We encourage and sincerely hope that every classmate, if you are free on that night, to come and join this function. I am sure there will be a lot of fun on that night.
